Hair look: “I wanted to created a juxtaposition to the clothes for Jennifer Kate. The clothes are very soft with a lot of suede and almost-Japanese inspired texture in the colour blocking and in the silhouette, so to juxtapose that I created a really high shine look - very tight to the head, very structured. I call it a shimada-inspired look - I took this technique from the old Japanese wig makers from 200 years ago, folding and tying the hair in a certain way. We start with Short Sculpt Gel to comb the hair down in the centre part really tightly. Hair is then tied in two ponytails. We put a little bit of Diamond Oil through the ponytails and run the ghd through it to get it nice and straight and smooth and shiny. We then use another four hair ties as we fold and place the hair."
Make-up: Linda Lubrin for
Make-up look: “We're keeping the make-up look really fresh, really clean and quite modern and simple as well. It's all about the skin - we're using hints of nude just around the eyes and the cheeks just to enhance whatever's naturally there. Brows are quite natural, but brushed up."
