Microbead free skincare brands

The government has taken a huge leap towards a cleaner New Zealand with a ban on the sale and manufacture of microbeads, which will come into effect by June 2018. Microbeads are tiny plastic beads found in exfoliating and polishing personal care products and some toothpaste. It’s estimated that a single cleansing product can contain as many as 360,000 microbeads! Due to their size, they easily bypass water systems, filtering into the ocean where they go onto harm precious marine life.
