The brand seeking to restore your natural beauty

Australia is known for its natural beauties just as much as its stunning coastlines. With a love for the outdoors (especially the oceanfront), Australia has produced a bevy of stunning women who exude low-maintenance, natural beauty. Just take a look at the likes of Elle Macpherson, Lara Bingle, and the Hart sisters.

It’s interesting to note that even in a beauty era marked by contouring and surgical enhancements, Australia remains a tried and true ambassador of healthy, natural sorts. A fresh-faced glow, a smattering of freckles and messy hair are more likely to be desired in Oz over the doll-like glam Hollywood favours.

This is perhaps the forgotten importance of the beauty industry. Yes, it can transform you (if that’s what you want), but it can also help to enhance what you were born with. And this isn’t limited to the complexion - rather, it can be applied to the whole body, including your fingernails.

So many Australians have turned to Nail Strengthener to boost their natural fingernails. With a mantra to “turn your nails from frail to firm”, it aims to revive tired fingertips, making them strong, healthy and shiny once more.

The results speak for themselves, with Revitanail earning multiple accolades for its performance. These wins include InStyle Beauty Awards - Best Beauty Buys six times (2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2013, 2014), Instyle Beauty Awards - Hall of Fame (2011), Australian Beauty Awards - Reader's Choice (2011), Australian Beauty Awards - Judge's Choice (2012) and beautyheaven Glosscars (2013).

Assistant brand manager Stephanie Limcauco is not surprised by the continued popularity of Revitanail, firmly believing it stands out in the market. As to why, she simply says it lives up to its promises: “The many awards the product has won, as well as the fact that it still reigns as the number one nail treatment across Australian pharmacies*, is a testament towards how well this product really works. While some products offer a quick but temporary solution to soft/weak nails, the use of the Revitanail Nail Strengthener over the full 28-day treatment program offers longer-lasting results.”

Created to combat the damage caused by artificial nails, gels and other salon treatments, Revitanail has become a cult favourite amongst many Australians. Limcauco explains the product’s popularity lies in its ability to renew: “This salon-strength intensive treatment has been designed to harden and protect nails damaged by polish and nail extensions, including gel, shellac and acrylics.”

It also filled a gap in the market for products that restore nails’ natural beauty. Limcauco explains the brand’s inspiration stemmed from three factors: “market observation and the identification of customer needs, as well as requests from salon customers and beauticians”. The formula took several months to perfect, and the final product has made its mark as a proven offering that helps to renew nails - eliminating peeling, flaking and chipping, while making them stronger, longer and healthier-looking - and therefore, more beautiful.

How does the product work, exactly? The process is based on four weeks of nail strengthening. Consumers are encouraged to apply two coats of Revitanail Nail Strengthener onto clean nails, avoiding the cuticle area. This is followed by applying one coat daily over the next five days. On the seventh day, the treatment is removed with Revitanail Nail Polish Remover, before the process is repeated three more times. Each program lasts for 28 days, with one to two weeks of rest in between. Use in conjunction with Revitanail Nourishing Oil to soothe, condition and protect cuticles, and provide extra flexibility for nails
