French actress Ariane Labed has been named the face of an upcoming Chloé fragrance, due out in March.
Currently, the actress is starring opposite Rooney Mara and Joaquin Phoenix in Mary Magdalene, and opposite Robert Pattinson in The Souvenir: Part 1.
The actress was born and raised in Greece before relocating to France, which Chloé CEO Geoffroy de la Bourdonnaye says perfectly encapsulates what the new fragrance is about: “Ariane combines different cultures and displays multiple talents… She loves to cross new frontiers and encounter the world.”
The new scent will introduce a fresh facet of the Chloé Woman’s personality: “Spontaneity, openness to the world and freedom are the values she lives by.”
In a statement, Labed said: “The woman depicted in this new campaign is free-spirited, strong and adventurous. She takes on the world, its beauty and is curious about everything it has to offer. In that sense she is very inspiring to me.”
