Glossier has confirmed that the rumours are true – its iconic You fragrance is expanding with not one but two new variants.
Announced via Instagram, the brand is welcoming Glossier You Rêve and Glossier You Doux to its line-up.
Permanent members of the Glossier You family and here to stay, the new fragrances will be released October 3rd, via Glossier's direct-to-consumer website.
Glossier You Rêve (magenta bottle) is a dreamy gourmand fragrance that opens with lush buttercream and has a centre of plum butter, toasted almond, iris and sandalwood.
Glossier You Doux (cream bottle) is a soft and serene woody fragrance that opens with sweet violet, followed by a precious blend of woody palo santo, frankincense and smoky myrrh.
Both fragrances feature the base note of ambrox you know and love from Glossier You Original.
In what Glossier is calling its biggest launch in its 10-year history, founder, Emily Weiss said the two new scents are just the beginning of the brand’s fragrance ambitions.
"I can see a shelf with six to eight Yous on it," Weiss told Business of Fashion.
The range will be available via Glossier's wholesale locations, which includes MECCA in Australia and New Zealand, as confirmed by the brand here. However, we will have to wait a little while longer as the new duo isn't hitting MECCA counters until April 2025.
Glossier finally reached Australian shores in July 2024, as BD reported, and has been a firm favourite on the MECCA shelves ever since (we're talking Balm Dot Com was sold every 60 seconds on launch day).
