It's the hair tool every beauty junkie wants to get their hands on, and after selling out (multiple times), Dyson has announced it is extending the cult Airwrap™ styler range with four new attachments.
The new additions include small soft and firm smoothing brushes and lengthened barrels in both 40mm and 30mm widths, allowing users with varying hair lengths and styles to curl, wave, smooth and dry.
The magic behind Dyson’s digital motor creates a phenomenon known as the Coanda effect. The Coanda effect occurs when a high-speed jet of air flows across a surface and, due to differences in pressure, the air flow attaches itself to the surface.
Taking advantage of this principle Dyson’s team of aerodynamicists created a way to style hair using only air combined with heat. The result creates a natural look with a sleek finish, helping prevent extreme heat damage.
“We have been obsessively manipulating airflow for more than 25 years. It is one of our core expertise. Harnessing the power of Dyson’s digital motor we have engineered a truly unique styling tool preventing extreme heat damage when styling. I’m immensely proud of what our engineers have achieved,” said founder and inventor, James Dyson.
The new attachments can be purchased individually for $49 from Dyson.com.au and the Dyson Demo Store, Beauty Lab in Sydney’s QVB.
