Tech giant Apple have tapped the star power of Australia’s leading fitspo star Kayla Itsines. The personal trainer and founder of the Bikini Body Guide has landed a role in Apple’s latest advertising campaign.
The fitness aficionado – who currently has 4.9 million Instagram fans – is the only Australian to feature in the campaign. She stars alongside the likes of Nick Jonas, Alice Cooper, Jon Batiste and Chloë Sevigny in the stylised videos.
The 15-second video titled Climb sees Itsines focus on the watch’s heart rate tracking ability, and displays her running up a flight of stairs. With the major company acknowledging Itsines’ growing global fame, her appointment to the ads reveals the growing influence and selling power social media stars hold.
