Following the recent departure of editor Rosie Taber, beautyheaven has welcomed a new captain of the ship in the form of Katie Carlin. bh is excited to welcome Katie to the team, who brings with her a wealth of experience in online publishing, editing, social media, and journalism. Katie started her career at Fairfax Media, working across the SMH iPad, Life&Style and Essential Kids for over five years before moving on to the role of editor at Babyology where she managed a high-performing team of four writers.
In her role as managing editor Katie will be overseeing the beautyheaven awards program and social media channels as well as launching new site categories and features.
"I am excited to work with such a talented team who are passionate about finding innovative ways to bring the best in beauty to beautyheaven's audience; from interactive videos right through to the Glosscar awards.
I'm also looking forward to getting beautyheaven in front of new audiences who haven't yet discovered the wealth of community endorsed reviews, advice and trends available to help them make their beauty purchasing decisions," said Katie of her new role.
