Rebecca O'Hearn has returned from maternity leave and will be stepping into the role of fashion and beauty editor at Yours, following Sarah Sayers departure.
BD chatted with Rebecca to get all the info on her new role:
Could you tell us a bit about your background and where you were working before?
I have been on maternity leave but was previously the fashion editor at Woman’s Day and Yours magazine. Before that I was the fashion and grooming editor at FHM. And prior to that, I was a travel-obsessed backpacker living in London.
What will your role at Yours entail?
I will work across both departments, delivering four pages of fashion and four pages of beauty each fortnight.
Will you be working full-time or part-time?
I am part-time, Tuesday- Thursday
How can beauty brands and PRs work with you in the future?
I will email fortnightly call outs and typically request images related to my upcoming features.
I would be very interested in any campaign imagery from brands that feature women who are 40+. If there is anyone who shots with women our demographic (or who plan to) please get in touch as I would be very interested in running them for both fashion and beauty.

Being part of a wonderful team at Yours and getting to know everyone again in the beauty industry.
