Vogue continues to pave the way when it comes to merging digital with print, with consumers getting their first glimpse of the print version of online title Miss Vogue yesterday - with issue one hitting stands.
Previously only available in digital form, Miss Vogue has now launched a twice-yearly magazine and tablet app. Aimed at fashionistas aged 19 to 29, former Oyster editor Alice Cavanagh is at the helm alongside renowned fashion director Christine Centenera.
The Miss Vogue print edition offers a mix of luxury, contemporary and high-street fashion, beauty and lifestyle, while the app is filled with additional content such as behind-the-scenes videos to music clips and sound bites.
To launch the first issue, Miss Vogue called on 15-year-old actress Elle Fanning. "Who is Miss Vogue? That was the question we asked ourselves when planning this inaugural issue," says Cavanagh.
"There were some obvious answers and our cover girl, the infectiously giddy Elle Fanning, was definitely one of them. I fell in love with this genuine and uniquely stylish young person when I interviewed her in LA… She is even more likeable - if that is possible - in person."
The print edition is available now from newsagents. Click to download the app.
