Changes at Cosmo, ELLE and Harper’s

Marina Go has been announced as the new general manager of the Hearst Bauer Media brands, a joint venture between Bauer and Hearst Magazines International. The joint venture brands included are ELLE Australia, Harper’s Bazaar and Cosmopolitan. Go will start her new role on September 22, and will report to CEO of Bauer, Matthew Stanton.

A senior publishing figure with at least 25 years experience, Go is currently the CEO of Private Media, a digital publishing company that she launched in 2012. Some of her previous positions include group publisher at Independent Digital Media, publishing director at EMAP, general manager of magazines at Fairfax Media, and group publisher and editor-in-chief at Pacific Publications.

Marina has a track record of success and deep understanding across print and digital publishing, as well as an extensive knowledge of best-in-class business practices, all of which will further elevate our brands on every platform. She’s creative, strategic, and I look forward to working with her,” says Stanton.
