Incoming British Vogue editor-in-chief Edward Enninful has announced an overhaul of his editorial department, including more appointments to the fashion and beauty teams this week.
Enninful made history earlier this year by becoming British Vogue's first male editor, and ahead of his start date in September, there have been numerous high-profile departures and hires. The most recent appointments include model and activist Adwoa Aboah as contributing editor and Pat McGrath as beauty editor-at-large. Renowned makeup artists and hair stylists Val Garland, Sam McKnight, Guido Palau and Charlotte Tilbury are also the magazine's new contributing beauty editors.
These announcements come in the wake of prominent staff members leaving the mag, including former fashion director Lucinda Chambers, deputy editor Emily Sheffield and managing editor Frances Bentley. Chambers recently gave a candid interview with blogging site Vestoj about how she was fired from the position.
Other new appointments include Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss and Steve McQeen as contributing editors, Grace Coddington as contributor and Venetia Scott as fashion director. There are also a number of well-established industry names joining as contributing fashion editors.
