Lucky magazine has unfortunately run out of its namesake on the physical front, confirming that it will be ceasing print operations. Instead, the US-based fashion publication will be focusing solely on its digital platform.
The announcement comes on the back of months of change at the Condé Nast creation, which has included the resignation of its editor-in-chief Eva Chen and news its frequency will be reduced from 10 issues a year to quarterly.
Alongside the closure of its print arm, Lucky has confirmed the laying off of 14 staff, including renowned publisher Gillian Gorman Round. Those staff who have remained have been absorbed into the magazine’s planned digital operation.
