Professional Beauty Australia appoints new editor-in-chief

Professional Beauty has appointed Hannah Gay as the title’s editor-in-chief.

Hannah assumes the role after five years with the publication, commencing in 2019 as beauty editor before moving into the role of online and special projects editor in 2022.

She will oversee editorial content, direction, and strategy across the brand’s print, web, social, and video touchpoints.

"I am beyond thrilled to commence in the editor-in-chief role with Professional Beauty," said Hannah.

"I am particularly proud to serve as a voice on behalf of the country’s buoyant and ever-evolving beauty industry, composed of a dedicated network of trained beauty and aesthetic professionals."

"Now more than ever, professionals are hungry for up-to-the-minute news and ideas set to impact the running of their businesses. PB is a key driver in sector-tailored conversations and plays a vital role in directing salon owner spending."

"We are crafting content for a new generation of business owners and their staff, while paying tribute to our long-standing loyal readers and partners. I very much look forward to reinvigorating our beloved publication," she said.
