Vogue Australia is thrilled to announce the first Mandarin edition of its Cosmetic Enhancement and Anti-ageing Bi-annual magazine. The issue will be launched in Australia on July 16.
Following 12 months of research, editor Ricky Allen interviewed 50 Chinese locals and high profile visitors to find out what they were interested in from an aesthetic point of view. The information gathered then formed the basis of the editorial for this first edition of the magazine.
Other research undertaken by Allen, who is special beauty projects editor at Vogue, suggested that one of the biggest growth areas for cosmetic enhancement is in the local Chinese population as well as visitors to the country. She believes this will continue for some time.
The magazine will be available in select hotels and news agents as well as first and business class lounges.
