Meet Danielle Lauder (above). Hollywood actress, great-granddaughter of Estée Lauder, granddaughter of Lauder company chairman Leonard A. Lauder and daughter of executive chairman William P. Lauder.
Her name is about to become big in beauty as she is currently readying herself to launch a limited edition, seven-piece makeup range for the family buiness, which she's named Act IV.
While details about the products are yet to be revealed, it's thought the line is inspired by her glamarous life as an actress - hence the name - while taking inspiration from her family heritage. Said WWD: " That ethos would have appealed to her great-grandmother, who wrote in her autobiography, “A Success Story,” that as a child she dreamed of being an actress 'with her name in lights,' and once quipped, 'Be strong, be confident, be the star of your own life.'"
This isn't the first time that Danielle has been involved in the family business. She previously had a role in a short film Estée Lauder produced when the brand tapped Karlie Kloss as global ambassador.
Danielle is the first member of the Lauder family's fourth generation to take an active role in the company.
