Australian women will need to make room in their make-up bags – there’s a new colour cosmetics brand set to change the way we see beauty. are not only formulated to the highest standards, but its signature lip range features a shade to match every woman's style. There's Risque for the bold, high-fashion type, pale pink Miss You for the more demure everyday girl, and the brand's best-selling shade Showgirl, for the party girl in all of us.
Savoir Faire is the brainchild of two make-up artists heralding from Western Australia. Leia Corrie and Carla Zuks-Baker were tired of lacklustre cosmetics that failed to deliver on quality and performance, so two and half years ago, they decided to do something about it. The brand, the name of which literally translates to to know, to do”, promises cosmetics that are highly pigmented, very effective, and – the best part – will stay exactly where you put them on your face.
Savoir Faire has a five sensory philosophy, which results in products that are not only beautiful to touch, feel and smell, but, in the case of the brand’s Lipgloss, are also good enough to actually eat.
The brand’s products are formulated with strict ingredient regulations in place (for instance, it’s zero tolerance on talc), resulting in colours that are highly pigmented and efficacious, so a small amount goes a long way. The cosmetics also have staying power unlike any consumer products we’ve seen before, particularly when it comes to the Eyeliner, which has the ease of a pencil application but the look of a liquid.
The brand’s standout products, though, would have to be its range of . Housed in luxe silver magnetic clasp cases, the creamy formula features a light vanilla scent in shades that will knock your socks off. The popular Miss You and Risque cover the nude and fiery red tones, with the newly launched bright-fuchsia Showgirl tipped to become the brand’s best-seller this year. And, of course, they have the staying power that Savoir Faire is set to become famous for.
