Hair: Jon Pulitano for Redken

Hair style: "The models are emerging from the dark to the light, and it's a little bit Victorian gothic. So what we've done is created a centre part, and put some strong finger waves in the front. Then basically we've just braided the hair out from the underneath just to give the hair a thinner look. And also that braid just provides a bumpy shape at the back of the head. We've used the Redken Hardware gel to create the waves, then we're stamping the hair down using the Redken Guts and also the Argan 06 serum. The final look will be very wet and glossy, with a little bit of darkness to it," says Jon Pulitano for Redken.

Make-up: Nicola Burford for MeMeMe

Make-up style: "The brief I was given was 'emerging from the dark to the light'. The designer had a very clear direction that he wanted the girls to look very pale and a little bit fragile, but still having some kind of inner strength with that fragility, so I really wanted to bring that out in the make-up. I've used all the cooler skin tones from the MeMeMe cream foundations, and also colours that you'd naturally find in the skin, so alabaster, white, musky pink and that sort of taupey, natural shadow-colour brown. We've applied the Duepot colour in halos around the eyes so they create shadows. That's the dark side. Then the emergence into the light is created with lots of luminosity around the triangle of light from the top of the cheekbone around the apples. We're using lots of luminous products like Moonbeam, shimmery powders and eyeshadows. The lashes are going to stay bare for the show, but you could easily take this look to the streets by adding mascara." says Nicole Burford for MeMeMe.
