Who: Magdalena Velevska
When: 5pm, May 1. Maritime Museum, Darling Harbour.
Inspiration: "Magdalena Velevska’s Spring/Summer 12/2013 collection, titled Phosphorescence, has strongly been influenced by an aquatic theme. The collection is inspired by the fluid silhouettes and caviar like texture of the stingray, as well as aspects of the 1950's swimming costume and 1960's prints."

Hair: Renya Xydis for Wella Professionals
Hair style: "Her inspiration was stingrays, sea and the water, and so we're liquifying that in the hair. We're making the hair really wet and we're twisting it so it looks like it goes into the water. This wet look is a sleek and modern take on the traditional French roll that finds beauty in the absolute darkness and mystery of the stingray. We used the Wella Professionals SP Hydro Finish, which is quite conditioning for the girls having their hair damaged because of Fashion Week, we're using the Wella Professionals SP Elegant Shape with water to give the wet look and we're using the Wella Professionals SP Perfect Hold hairspray," says Renya Xydis.
Make-up: Kate Squires for
Make-up style: "Magdalena's inspiration for her collection is the stingray and all things aquatic, so we really wanted to bring that out in the make-up with a look that was quite fresh and you could picture her out in the ocean. The skin is sunburnt - it's still quite fresh and dewy but it's bronzed to the point that the skin's about to burn so it has that beautiful rosiness to it as well. We're making the brows all the same colour on all the girls regardless of their hair colour, and it's quite a straight masculine brow. The style of the lip is a neon yellow that we've made a bit of a concoction of things to get the colour and the texture right for the show. It's like she's a futuristic mermaid. It's not so sci fi - it's a bit prettier than that and a bit more relatable," says Kate Squires.
"Contours are curved and soft, not angular and hard. To get the sunkissed look, we worked cream textures into the temples and forehead and then added powder to slightly matte. The brows are strong and polished. The acid yellow lip is a standout. We blended China Doll Alabaster with Loose Eye Dust in Proud Peacock to create the bespoke neon, matte shade," says Napoleon Perdis.

"We've gone for a natural flesh colour on the base of the nail and then we've used all different colours in the shape of a half moon on the tip of the nail which gives the nail a good fun look," says Miss Frou Frou nail artist Donna Duggan.
