Who: Zimmermann
When: 9.00am, May 1. Koskela, Rosebery.
Inspiration: "The collection has been inspired by the idea of a small group of young, independent renegade women. Clique Clique reflects their strong and unafraid attitude, however, still feminine. Designer Nikki Zimmermann has combined both feminine and urban aspects, with the result - an impeccable moment between powerful and pretty."

Hair: Sharon Blain for Goldwell Professional
Hair style: "The Zimmermann range is called Clique Clique and the inspiration came from Kate Moss from the magazine The Face from the early 90s, so it was like a new romantic. We wanted to bring in something young and fresh, but we've actually called on some old ideas. One being rag curling - which is something from many, many years ago which is incorporated into this look. It's an equestrian shape or mohawk shape in the hair, some of them are on the top and some of them are through the back and then we've rolled that into cotton rags and wound the rags around the hair and tied little knots in their hairs. The hair works really beautifully with the clothing range. We started off using the Goldwell StyleSign Power Whip to get all the flyaways down and dry the hair into place and then we've used the Hold Factor 3 Hair Spray. We finished it off with the StyleSign Diamond Gloss. We wanted to keep it a little more fresh and young, so we haven't gone heavy on the product," says Sharon Blain.
Make-up: Linda Jefferyes for
Make-up style: "They came to us with the fabrics, cuts and designs and we thought that because the Zimmermann clothes were so pretty and beautiful that we needed to give it a little bit of an edge. We've gone for a little bit of a stronger brow - I call it the punky brow, it's influenced by the punky theme. We've done the brow quite heavy and put lots of mascara on as well to balance out that brow, but we've kept the rest of the face very soft and shimmery. Lots of silver shimmer to the eye and I've let the loose shimmer pigment drop under the eye as well. I've done my new favourite lip colour called Casual Colour as it's the perfect plum colour. We have the perfect balance of punk and softness," says Linda Jefferyes.

OPI Don't Touch My Tutu
"For the toes, we're doing Alpine Snow and for the fingers we're doing tips with Alpine Snow as the base and Don't Touch My Tutu on top. They're from the New York ballet collection that has just been released, so it's very, very new. The reason we've put it on top is to give it a bit more of a sheen and pop. If you look at the style of the clothes, these colours all tie it together and the white is one of the hot looks for spring/summer this year," says OPI technician Aimee O'Shea.
