Hair style: "The bec&bridge girl is sexy! And guess what? She is still sexy, but she's grown up a little bit. She's travelling the world, she's got a bit of cash, she's got beautiful hair, bit dusty, but it's natural. It has that natural kink, that natural wave, so we are going to put a beautiful blow dry, not put any obvious wave in it. We are just going to bring out what we can. What is important about what we are trying to do today is the volume of it, represented by dust in the hair. We are going to give it a bit of style, so we are going to go low part, literally falling off - sweeping across the fringe, and then we've got a section that hangs out through the front, so that the ear is exposed. This way, when she walks the whole hair moves, and the hair in front of the ear moves, so that a few wispy bits move around the face. The look is really about the most beautiful blow dry you can do. We are putting ghd Total Volume Foam in it, which gives us a nice dusty feel, it's kind of a modern finish, its more matte then polish and shine, and this represents that beach vibe you get with salt spray, minus the grit. So you get the texture, volume and hold but you don't get the shine. I am also using the Oval Dressing Brush, and the reason I am doing that is to brush the blow dries to aerate them, stimulating the hair and we will get it to own its own movement," says Alan White.
Make-up: Nicole Thompson for
Make-up style: "So they need to look like an urban, summer tribe - we are making them freckly, sun kissed, bronze and we using some shades of ochre more than anything to keep it warm and rusty. We are using shadester, a pro blush, and uninterrupted long wear eyeshadow in ochre colours and we are taking it from the inside out. The brows are bushy and hazy, and the freckles we are doing with stone lip pencil. I am making a gold liquid that we are going to smear up under the brow and just have it look like they have done it themselves, basically like a glamorous wall paint. They are going to be a little different on every girl. We have also used mid-tone sepia cream colour base a lot and we have used that to bronze through the centre of the skin and push it outwards," says Nicole Thompson.

"This is a subtle gold. We started off with gold but we didn't want any bling on the nails, so we've actually muted down one of our new Gwen Stefani colours with good old Samoan Sands, a fashion week favourite. It is a soft, subtle gold that we are using today, nothing but nail. The Gwen Stefani colour is Love, Angel, Music, Baby (L.A.M.B)," says Karon McKendrink-Taylor.
