Finding the perfect foundation may seem like mission impossible, but one brand that has managed to hit the bullseye is . A recent expert trial of the brand’s new saw the product coming up trumps with beauty experts.
The panel found 90 per cent of respondents would recommend the product to friends and readers, 90 per cent would use the product again and 90 per cent would include the foundation in their make-up bag. Furthermore, 100 per cent believe it is good value.
“It changed my perception of compact foundations. I usually avoid powders and compacts because they are either too dry or too heavy, this was a mid to light coverage and looked radiant but was dry to touch,” says Oz Beauty Expert blogger Bonnie Gillies.
Mary Kay claims the Endless Performance Creme-to-Powder Foundation stays fresh for 12 hours, is heat-, humidity- and transfer-resistant and has a soft, velvety-powder finish, and the survey results validated these declarations.
The study found 100 per cent of participants liked the texture of the foundation and the fact it blended easily into their skin. As for the finish, 90 per cent said it set on their face well, and the foundation matched 80 per cent of the participants’ skin colour.
A further 90 per cent believe the foundation resisted heat and humidity throughout the day, 100 per cent confirmed it offered good coverage, and 100 per cent noticed it did not rub off or streak when they touched their face throughout the day.
“So fantastic! I was worried it would be too matte for me as I prefer a dewy glow, but it was absolutely perfect. [The foundation] lasted all day even in 40 degree heat and was the perfect colour match for my skin,” says The Daily Mark blogger Madeleine Burke.
