Refinery29 has revealed its list of new wave makeup artist changing the beauty landscape with their imaginative looks on Instagram. 

From novices to industry experts, here are BD's favourites from the list of artists they believe are spearheading the coolest beauty movements right now. 

Salwa Rahman - @urgalsal_
London-based Salwa Rahman's creativity knows no bounds when it comes to makeup. Her Instagram is a curation of colour blocking, extreme eyeshadow and some adorable accessories thrown in for good measure. She's recently featured on a panel for Vogue Beauty and Glossier.

Lynski - @lynskiii
Another Londoner making waves with her experimental makeup looks is Lynski. Her nostalgic use of pastel eye shadows has attracted the attention of publications such as L’Officiel and Beauty Papers magazine. 

Helen Marie - @honeydon.t
It's all about the eyes for Helen Marie, who layers gems, pearls, beads and stickers over her makeup. She's currently got 33k followers on Instagram and counting.

Cruelty-free makeup artist Gabriella Floyd is seriously in demand over in the UK. She works with the likes of popstar, Sigrid, and a ream of fashion brands (ASOS and Converse to name a few) that let her experiment with colour and texture.
