Here is a little but more about him…
Previous jobs
One of my first encounters with Joico was a show I was in back in 1997. It was a charity auction/hair show. We had an artist painting with hair colour as guests arrived. We presented hair looks throughout the evening then the art was auctioned off at the end. This was all I needed to see to give me vision to where I wanted to go. Many years later I became the education manager for sabre corporation NZ. This job is where I had the most travel which was amazing and inspirational. New York was my favourite city to train (and shop) in. The people, ideas and energy were incredible. I used to stay on in New York afterwards for a few days holiday, staying with a friend I met through training who knew all the hot spots for fantastic shopping and eating. She later went on to her own show called Tabatha’s salon take over. The answer to most questions about Tabatha. "Yes, she is like that in real life!"

Favourite music
Music tastes for me change often, at the moment the iPod is playing Sarah Frances Johnston, Connie Rae Bailey, Chris Malinchak and to mix it up a bit Pueto Claridad.
Dream vacation
Last year we visited Bali for the first time. I wasn't too keen with all the bali stigma surrounding it but after meeting the locals and tasting the food we have booked to go back for Xmas. This place is so beautiful from the locals, to the accommodation and the food. As for the monkeys.... I'm still not sure about them.
Vision board
With the internet enabling us to visit the world, vision boards via the internet have become a personal escape for me. They can start from a simple idea, something that makes me think and look a little longer or simply a direction I may have been given. We are based in Hobsonville where there is a lot of building and expanding going on so change and development is evident and people are embracing the rhythm of ‘new and old’ which makes for some exciting changes in home, career and hair.
With Joico in salons
I have been working in salons presenting and showcasing since 1999 for Joico. I currently do session styling, shows and guest artist work. Occasionally a little in salon education to cover areas which is really nice to catch up with hairdressers I haven't seen in a while.
Not many know this about me
I am a bit of a nana. Early Sunday mornings I will be found at the Avondale markets for fruit and vege and by the afternoon chillin with a glass of vino the radio tuned to the classical station. Last time Tabatha was here I treated her to a morning at Avondale Markets. Can't be letting all this fame go to her head and what better way to appreciate New Zealand's ethnic diversity.
