NZ: Major changes to the PR team at Estée Lauder

After spending a year on maternity leave looking after her new baby, Coco, Estée Lauder public relations manager Sarah Hewitt has decided to resign from her role and continue being a full-time mum.

Following the news of Hewitt’s departure, Estée Lauder has announced that Jessica Carew will be joining the company on a permanent basis.

“Sarah made a great contribution to Estée Lauder Companies during her employment, adding real strength to our brands through the area of public relations. I am delighted to announce that Jessica Carew will continue on with Estée Lauder Companies on a permanent basis,” says general manager Marie-Ann Billens.

Carew will be responsible for delivering the public relations strategies for Estée Lauder, Clinique, Bobbi Brown, Aramis and Designer Fragrances, La Mer and Jo Malone London. She will also assist with corporate relations and managing the Estée Lauder Companies Pink Star Walk and other breast cancer awareness initiatives.

Carew has nearly a decade of experience working in public relations for prestige beauty brands, and joined Estée Lauder in NZ last December after working in Australia for six years.

Carew will be the day-to-day contact for any product requests, call-outs or queries regarding the company’s brands. To contact her, email jcarew@nz.estee.com or phone 09 270 7720 / 021 277 1351.
