NUXE Huile Prodigieuse
I love a good oil. Whether it’s for my face, hair or body, I find them extremely nourishing all year round. Multi-purpose oils tickle my fancy the most, because who doesn’t love a good two-, or even three-in-one? When NUXE Huile Prodigieuse landed on my desk, I literally squealed (the girls in the office can attest to that). It sparked this reaction for two reasons: one, because NUXE is a personal favourite, and two, this product has been on my wishlist ever since falling in love with the brand. Huile Prodigieuse is a mouthful of name, but all you need to know is it’s a multi-use dry oil that can be applied to skin and hair to nourish and repair. The fast-absorbing oil is formulated with six plant oils (macadamia, hazelnut, borage, sweet almond, camellia and St John’s wort) to help leave skin feeling soft and silky. The subtle yet sweet scent is amazing. I’m hooked and you will be, too! - Aja
Eminence Organic Skin Care Monoi Age Corrective Night Body Cream
I’m a bit of a weirdo. Wow, now that’s one way to open a review! Let me elaborate. As a girl in her mid-twenties who’s enjoyed a few too many hours in the sun, my skin is VERY prone to dehydration, and if I hold a position for too long, I find that lines set in my skin and stay that way for a few good hours. I’m taking about my chest in particular. I sleep on my side and I wake up to horrible ‘old-lady’ rivets running down my décolletage. Not pretty. I’ve taken to stuffing two pillows between my arms so I don’t ‘scrunch’ my chest (ergo, the weirdness) and slathering on this luxe body cream. Its formula is packed with hyaluronic acid, which is a whiz at combating dehydration. The fragrance is made up of a beautiful blend of oils that actually really relax me as I doze off with pillows hoisting up one arm. Good one, Eminence! - Kelly
Cuccio Naturale Pomegranate & Acai Body Butter Lyte
I’m a moisturiser fiend, so over the years I’ve become quite fussy about lotions, especially those I slather on daily. The Cuccio Naturale Pomegranate & Acai Body Butter ticks all the boxes - it smells divine, absorbs immediately and leaves skin feeling baby-soft all day long. Boasting a super-clever time release formula that works to release emollients continuously over a 24-hour period, this product really does go the distance. - Nat
John Plunkett's Vita E Oil
This week, I learnt two important life lessons: 1) ovens aren’t my friends and 2) vitamin E works miracles. Let me explain. After a roasting-related incident left a rather raw, red mark across the back of my hand, I was told to apply vitamin E, stat, lest I be permanently scarred. Plunkett’s Vita E Oil to the rescue! This fragrance-free, super concentrated blend of vitamin E and rosehip oil nourishes skin after moisture loss (i.e. those nasty scars, burns, stretch marks and rashes), healing damaged flesh and returning it as good as new. After a couple of days of religiously slathering the oil across my burn morning and evening, my hand is back to its burn-free self. - Sarah
Yes To Coconuts Ultra Light Spray Body Lotion
As a fan of both coconuts and Yes To products, I was just a bit excited when I found out the two were teaming up for the brand’s latest range. And it has not let me down. My absolute favourite product is the Ultra Light Spray Body Lotion. With a to-die-for scent, easy-to-use spray application and super-quick absorption, I have become more than a little obsessed with this non-greasy moisturiser. Along with coconut (which is incredibly hydrating), this body lotion contains sunflower oils to lock in hydration. This sits on my desk at work and gets to see some daily action. Nice. - Yelena
