Rimmel London Scandaleyes Eye Shadow Sticks - Paranoid Purple
I love the idea of painting my eyes with bright and bold colours. However, I do find myself shying away from this endeavour as I am not particularly neat or skilled with an eyeliner. The Rimmel London Scandaleyes Eye Shadow Stick took my fears away as the thick crayon made it easy to apply and to build slowly, depending on how dramatic you wanted the colour. I tried it in Paranoid Purple which was great to create a smokey eye that was more subtle than plain black, and the slight shimmer made my blue eyes pop. The fact that it stays waterproof for 24 hours will also come in handy with lazy summer beach days and pool parties right around the corner. - Laura
Bobbi Brown Creamy Matte Lip Color - Mandarin
Fresh, dewy skin with a bright pop of lip colour. Nothing is more fun and fresh for summer…except maybe a mojito. This Bobbi Brown offering is a creamy matte formula that is moisturising, highly pigmented and lightweight. I am wary of coloured formulas that congeal in the corners of your mouth (*shudder), so I’m happy to report that even after hours of wearing this one, that unfortunate occurrence doesn’t happen. I love this mandarin shade because it’s more peach than orange, almost watermelon-y. Beyonce would approve. - Kelly
Napoleon Perdis Crème De La Crème - Lava
In a past life I must have been an ancient Egyptian, as it is the only thing that can warrant my penchant for all things glitter and gold. Just like Cleopatra I can never have enough - I’m not just talking about an armful of golden bling bling - but a desire for gold to be present in most if not all of my make-up purchases. Napoleon Perdis Crème De La Crème is a cream eyeshadow that fulfils my golden fantasies. Rose gold in hue, the silky blend of shiny pigmentation can be lazily swept onto the eyelids for an instant, pharaoh-approved flash of colour. - Sarah
Bourjois Aqua Blush - Pink Twice
My skin has naturally pink/red undertones, so I’m always quite hesitant to wear blush for fear of looking like I’ve walked straight out of the 80’s (and not in a good way!). Because of this, I tend to opt for bronzer and highlighter which makes me a one-trick pony when it comes to make-up looks. So, I was quite keen to try the Bourjois Aqua Blush in Pink Twice. The colour adds a subtle and gorgeous Elizabeth-Bennet-esque glow to the apples of my cheeks that looks super natural, no cheek-pinching required. The formula itself is so lightweight (which is a big tick in my books) and it’s SO easy to blend. Plus, you only need one pump for each application so there’s no chance of overdoing it or wasting the product - happy days! - Anna
Benefit They’re Real! Mascara in Full Color - Beyond Blue
I tend to not make too many bold statements with my make-up - a little bit of blush here and there is about as colourful as I go. But, being an avid fan of the They’re Real! Mascara in the original black colour, I decided I’d be adventurous and try out one of their new coloured mascaras - the Beyond Blue. With eyes that lend themselves to hues of blue, grey and green, the Beyond Blue mascara managed to accentuate the blue in my eyes. Not only that, but it also delivered everything I love about the original mascara - top-notch lengthening, volumising, and curling false lash effects that make your eyes pop. Benefit They’re Real, you never let me down. - Yelena
