Peppermint Grove Fresh Sage & Cedar Candle – Aja
On Counter: April 1
What it is: An intoxicating candle that blends together bergamot, cranberry, sage, saffron, cedarwood and coffee.
My experience: With some of my favourite scents all blended into one, this cosy, inviting scent has been my go-to candle to burn now the weather is finally starting to cool down!
Benefit They’re Real! Double the Lip – Steph
On Counter: April 1
What it is: A dual purpose lip colour that boasts a lip liner and lipstick in one to create a visibly fuller pout.
My experience: This innovative lippie mirrors the iconic They’re Real! Mascara packaging and has an equally volumising effect. The teardrop shaped tip makes application really easy, focusing the liner around the edge of the lip while smoothing the creamy colour on in one swipe! The end result is bold and full lips.
Elizabeth Arden Cosmetics Little Black Compact – Caitlin
On Counter: April 1
What it is: An eyeshadow palette that can be customised with a range of shades. Each colour combination contains a base, a contour and a highlight shade that can be combined for a variety of looks.
My experience: With a range of six neutral shades in both matte and shimmering finishes, this palette is perfect for a casual everyday or subtle night look. The sleek matte black compact looks super cute in my makeup bag too.
Essano Clarifying Clay Masque – Bianca
On Counter: April 1
What it is: A natural mask designed for oily and congested skin types, formulated with high quality clay to lift impurities, cleanse, purify and replenish skin.
My experience: This mask cleansed and nourished my skin while the Rosehip oil and Aloe Vera left it feeling smooth and hydrated.
Jimmy Choo L’EAU – Vanessa
On Counter: April 3
What it is: A stunning fragrance including notes of hibiscus flower, sweet nectarine, floral peony and cedarwood.
My experience: This charming scent is delicate enough for everyday wear while still remaining bold and feminine. This will me my go-to though the colder months as it evokes visions of warm, spring days.
Skin Physics Over-night Restoring & Contour Treatment Cream – Georgie
On Counter: April 1
What it is: A face and neck restorative cream with a soft, light texture that works to support the skin’s natural, night-time repair process and recover the skin’s lost moisture, firmness, elasticity and tone – so that you awake to a restored, youthful-looking complexion and a more lifted, contoured and defined face and neck.
My experience: Because it’s the end of summer, my skin is in pretty good shape and has a healthy glow so I was concerned I wouldn’t see much of a drastic change from using not just this, but any product. Having said that, what I noticed this treatment did beautifully was make my skin feel slightly tauter. Especially around my cheekbones and lower eye area. The consistency is lovely and it only has a mild scent so will appeal to a wide audience. A definite thumbs up from me.
Remington Pro Ceramic Max – Zoe
On Counter: April 15
What it is: A hair straightener designed to provide even heat distribution for smooth hair with less frizz. With a variable heat setting from 150 - 230 degrees, the plates heat up in 15 seconds and the temperature locks in for consistent heat and even pressure while styling.
My experience: As someone with curly hair this straightener has been a welcome change. The extra wide plates cut the time it takes to straighten my hair in half and the variable heat settings are great for when I don’t want it to be laser straight.
