BD recently reported that a new Fenty Skin line was imminent, after its famous founder, Rihanna, confirmed the news to British Vogue.
Now, Fenty fans will be delighed to know that an official launch date has finally been announced – July 31 to be exact.
A short clip of Rihanna herself was today posted on a brand new @fentyskin Instagram page, where the singer and businesswoman was shown using a face wash, serum and lotion – all of which are assumed to be part of the new line.
“Ima try my best to be humble about this but, @fentyskin is coming July 31st exclusively at FENTYSKIN.COM!!,” the Instagram post was captioned. “Y’all ain’t hear it from me but you can shop it early if ya drop me your email through the link in my bio…”
Speculation about the skincare line first surfaced when ‘Fenty Skin’ was officially listed as a trademark in March last year, but fans have been anticipating the line since 2017, when unreleased products registered under ‘House of Fenty’ were discovered.
According to the trademark, Fenty Skin is set to cover 'medicated and non-medicated skincare preparations and soaps, body care kits comprising non-medicated body care preparations, and skincare product accessories.' Five additional product names were also listed in the application: Buff Ryder, Instant Reset, Fat Water, Flash Nap, and Hydra Vizor. However, Rihanna has not confirmed any of this herself.
