The blogger fave taking on the facial

The facial may be a part of beauty regimens for thousands, but it’s certainly on the indulgence end of the spectrum. Luckily there’s a new product proving the same results can be achieved by an at-home solution - the Hydrating Facial Masque - which recently transformed the skin of 80 per cent of BD’s Expert Panel of beauty bloggers.

The Sukin Hydrating Facial Masque is rich in the nourishing ingredients of mango seed butter, avocado oil and olive fruit extract. It’s a winning combination helping to tackle the most popular of skin concerns, particularly hydration - a beauty issue 90 per cent of the Expert Panel admitted they are interested in when purchasing skincare products.

While only 20 per cent of beauty bloggers actively seek natural ingredients, 100 per cent were impressed by the natural choices in the mask, finding the mango and avocado increased the moisture levels of their skin. The Skincare Obsessive blogger Simon Proietto comments: “I noticed that my skin felt instantly hydrated and refreshed when I first applied the mask… my skin felt a lot firmer too which was a bonus.”

First World Beauty Problem blogger Nicola Wood was also a fan: “I'm not usually focused on all natural ingredients as I've found in the past it doesn't always show a dramatic change or the product doesn't seem strong enough for me, however, this mask was different. I felt it had the power of any salon mask but without the overpowering skin-stripping feeling!”

A further 80 per cent of the panel also seek out products with anti-ageing qualities and 90 per cent have a penchant for brightening offerings - two other key areas targeted by Sukin’s creation.

Louise Penrose from The Beauty Vine comments: “The Sukin Hydrating Facial Masque felt lovely and soothing on application. It noticeably plumped my fine lines and wrinkles and improved the overall hydration of my skin. My skin felt soft, smooth and glowing. A beautiful mask!”

Long-term changes to the complexion are also a part of the mask’s appeal, with Beauty Bucket List founder Magda Hunoldt commenting: “After using the mask twice a week, I noticed that my skin was maintaining the optimal hydration levels in between treatments. It felt smooth and soft, making it easy to apply make-up products on top. I didn't experience any flakiness or tightness, just a fresh and glowing complexion.”

It’s a notion supported by vlogger Nikkia Joy, who says: “I noticed reduced oil production… My skin felt incredibly soft and smooth and was visibly settled and brighter.”
