The Precision Foam Colour Salon Blends collection is different from previous hair colours as it features a multi-dimensional colour scheme all in the one product. The formula combines pre-blended warm, cool and neutral tones to create nuanced hues previously only accessible in salons from the hands of experienced colourists.
When my clients come into the salon, I use colours from a professional shade palette to create exclusive blends customised to their skin tone and desired colour,” says John Frieda® creative colour director Nicola Clarke. The shades I created are hugely popular because you typically can’t get them in home hair colour - it takes a professional to blend the basic tones expertly.”
In the salon, colourist’s hands mix and mold shades to create an individual colour, taking into account skin tone, age and existing hair colour. The John Frieda® hair care experts designed three shades to achieve a desired look for different skin types. The shades available are 4PBN Dark Cool Espresso Brown, 5NBG Medium Chestnut Brown, and 7NBG Dark Caramel Blonde.
I worked with the John Frieda® Hair Care team to share some of the most popular, flattering blends I create at the salon, transforming them into shades of Precision Foam Colour,” adds Clarke.
The Precision Foam Colour Salon Blends shades feature foam-based technology to eliminate uneven coverage and patchiness that can be experienced with traditional at-home colour formulas.
Precision Foam Colour Salon Blends retails for $22.99 and will hit shelves in May, 2014.
