With festival season in full swing, and weekend one of Coachella done and dusted, Pinterest has revealed what’s trending on the site when it comes to festival hair and beauty.
In Australia, Pinterest has seen saves for ‘scrunchie’ ideas increase by 205 per cent since last year, proving that the 90’s are well and truly making a comeback.
Hair scarves are also trending on the platform, with a 205 per cent increase in saves since last year; while the more eccentric ‘space buns’ hairstyle has proven to be popular with a 90 per cent increase in saves over the last 12 months.
Festival classics like braids continue to gain momentum on the platform, with a 70 per cent increase in saves for ‘bohemian braids’ over the last 12 months.
Celebrities were all seen wearing these trends, with the likes of Victoria’s Secret model Stella Maxwell and influencer Elle Ferguson rocking braids; eternally cool-girl Bella Hadid sporting a white scrunchie; and Millie Bobby Brown with her hair up in space buns.
