Many would agree that the best way to farewell winter is with a spring beauty overhaul. And for spring 2020, it seems makeup has plenty of artistic freedom.

NEON EYES
Keen to distance yourself from nude eyeshadows and black eyeliners? Well you’re in luck because the neon and coloured eyes trend doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon. In fact, ‘60s inspired winged eyeliner made a neon splash on the spring/summer 2020 runways, appearing in shows such as Helmut Lang, Versace and Nicole Miller, among others.
And from fluorescent pinks at Anna Sui to acid yellows and popping orange lids, the colourful eyeshadow trend has also been gaining significant traction this year. Bold, bright shades have been spotted on runways all over the world – with those looking for even more impact reaching for an opaque shadow and filling in their entire lid.
