Top beauty industry executives gathered in New York on Thursday morning for the ninth annual Women's Wear Daily Beauty Inc Awards breakfast, which acknowledges the most innovative ideas, initiatives and products of 2011.
Among the Product of the Year award winners (for which there is a number of categories) was the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure range, Avon’s Outspoken Intense fragrance and skin care. Meanwhile, Tom Ford Beauty and Salma Hayek’s Nuance took out Launch of the Year awards for the luxe and mass categories respectively.
Brand of the Year went to Maybelline New York in the mass category, while took out the equivalent award in the prestige category.
Neutrogena took out the Digital Innovator of the Year (mass), while sample site Birchbox.com was awarded in the prestige category.
