Pacific Magazines stays strong despite tough market

It might be a tough market for media at the moment, but readership results from Roy Morgan show Pacific Magazines continues to show strength with figures finding it is the leading publisher in home and lifestyle, fashion, men’s lifestyle, teen, bridal, parenting and health.

With statistics compiled from January to December last year, the publishing company was found to have three of the top five highest-reaching titles with Better Homes and Gardens, New Idea and that’s life coming in third, fourth and fifth.

Pacific Magazines also commanded two of the top three weekly magazine positions.

Highlights for the company include Better Homes & Gardens reaching over 1.8 million people for every issue, marie claire increasing its female AB readership by 8.8 per cent POP, Home Beautiful jumping 14 per cent YOY and Prevention up 15.5 per cent YOY.
