Pacific Magazines has announced the launch of the Big Week of Beauty, a new national initiative to drive in-store retail sales through a range of free events for consumers.
Running from October 22 to 28, the Big Week of Beauty will see marie claire, InStyle, New Idea, Who, FAMOUS, Bride To Be, Better Homes And Gardens, Girlfriend, Women’s Health, Prevention and Home Beautiful profile the event via editorial pages, e-newsletters, websites and social media.
The Big Week of Beauty harnesses the collective power of the country’s biggest media company to give back to our beauty clients at a time when retail and consumer confidence is suffering,” says marie claire editor and Big Week of Beauty ambassador Jackie Frank.

The Big Week of Beauty initiatives will include editor attendance at in-store events, advice and workshops around the country, as well as world-first product reveals and launches, world-record attempts, special guest appearances, makeovers, massages, holidays, free gift bags and VIP events.
It will be supported by clients including David Jones, Myer, Priceline, Benefit, Bobbi Brown, Burberry, Chanel, ck one colour, Clarins, Clinique, COTY Fragrances, Dior, Elizabeth Arden, Estée Lauder, Giorgio Armani, Jo Malone, Jurlique, Kiehl’s, La Mer, Lancôme, La Prairie, M.A.C Cosmetics, Napoleon Perdis, Ralph Lauren, Revlon, Shiseido, Sisley, TRESemmé, Toni and Guy and Yves Saint Laurent.
