Sanctuary Spa appoints ballerina ambassador

In a nod to A gesture of love becomes a global brand, has appointed Darcey Bussell, principal ballerina at The Royal Ballet, as an ambassador for the brand. The original Sanctuary Spa in Covent Garden was created 35 years ago as a place for ballerinas at The Royal Ballet to unwind and enjoy treatments.

A principal ballerina for almost 20 years, Bussell is not only incredibly successful, but also a mother of two children. Sanctuary Spa describes Bussell as embodying natural beauty and happiness, saying, Darcey’s cheerful spirit and confidence keeps her looking as beautiful now as she ever has.”

Bussell says Sanctuary Spa products really work on her skin, helping it look brighter, smoother and younger. By the time I reached 40, I noticed my skin was showing signs of ageing,” Bussell explains. I don’t want to stop time, but I’d like a little help to ensure I grow old gracefully. That’s why I’m delighted to work with the Sanctuary Spa; people who really understand women’s skin and how to care for it, offering a real and noticeable difference.”

Bussell’s appointment coincides with the launch of Sanctuary Spa’s new Active Reverse skincare range, which includes six anti-ageing skincare essentials.
