Reports are circling that Cate Blanchett has signed a $US10 million deal to become the new face of Giorgio Armani fragrances.
The Aussie actress is soon set to shoot a series of glossy ads for the fragrances, according to The New York Post.
While Armani has previously revealed that Blanchett epitomises the woman for whom I design”, the fashion house is not commenting on the signing reports.

Giorgio Armani International has released a statement, saying: "Giorgio Armani Fragrances has no comment concerning the rumour regarding a contract with Cate Blanchett.”
Armani traditionally uses models in his campaigns, however, he has previously featured some famous faces including Megan Fox.
