After leaving OK! Magazine earlier this year to edit parenting site iVillage Australia, Holly Wainwright has just been appointed the new editor of sister title Mamamia.
Former editor Jamila Rizvi was appointed editor-in-chief of the Mamamia Network’s sites Mamamia, iVillage Australia and The Glow last December, but has been covering the editor duties while looking for a replacement.
Holly has proven herself to be a formidable editor and online strategist, making the far-from-easy transition from print to digital in January this year. After a lengthy search for the right person to fill this role externally, we decided that Holly was the only woman for the job,” says Rizvi.

Avi Vince will take up the role of acting iVillage editor until a replacement is announced.
