Publishing giant Ita Buttrose is set to educate attendees of this year’s Hair Expo held at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre in Darling Harbour from June 9 to 11.
Buttrose will be speaking about her 10 Steps to Small Business Success”, where she will share the top tips she’s learnt during her highly successful career in the media.
Other industry icons set to educate and inspire over the Queen’s Birthday long weekend include Kevin Murphy, Mark Hayes, who will host a creative seminar with the Sassoon International Creative Team, and Snowden Hill, who is holding a Backstage” seminar on translating runway looks into street styles.
The expert advice and information doesn’t stop there. Sharon Blain and The Art of Hair Education Team will also be showing how to achieve 1940s glamour, while make-up artist Rae Morris will give tips for perfect make-up in minutes. Jayne Wild, Brad Ngata, Caterina DiBiase and Damien Rinaldo are also set to demonstrate some of the latest techniques in cutting, colouring and styling.
Joining Buttrose in the business side of the weekend is Redken’s international education artistic director Chris Baran, who will be sharing career insights and Ian Stephens, who will teach how to recruit, engage, develop and retain young talent. Faye Murray is also going to reveal valuable marketing techniques specific to the hairdressing industry.
