Modern Family actress Sofia Vergara has announced she is the latest spokesperson for COVERGIRL cosmetics.
The Emmy nominated actress made the announcement through her Twitter account from the shoot of her first advertising campaign for the brand that will debut in January 2012.

COVERGIRL general manager Vince Hudson says Sofia personifies what it means to be a COVERGIRL through her confidence and beautiful sense of humour”.
The actress uploaded a photo of herself from the shoot to both her Facebook and Twitter account.
Other COVERGIRL spokeswomen include Jennifer Hawkins, Drew Barrymore, Taylor Swift, Ellen DeGeneres and Queen Latifah.
