NZ: Hair never goes out of fashion

Redken and New Zealand fashion label Stolen Girlfriends Club are joining forces. Both brands will partner in catwalk shows, installations, campaign-shoots and look books. Adding to the excitement, the creative collaboration is being announced today on social media, with a surprise image (pictured) that represents the double-vision being released.

For this announcement project, we wanted to let everyone know we are now working with Redken as our hair partner,” says Stolen Girlfriends Club designer Marc Moore.

So many brands are making ‘noise’ on social media these days so we wanted to put out an image that represented the spirit of both brands but also was something a little different and eye-catching,” adds Moore. We are always very careful about who we align with, we must really love a brand to work with it and have a mutual respect. It also needs to be long-term.”

Redken NZ general manager Mike Bruce agrees, commenting, Hair is just as important as the clothes to bring the aesthetic together, so that the consumer understands the overall seasonal look. This will be a collaborative relationship that breathes inspiration and innovation from the salon chair to the runway.”
