Internationally recognised hairstylist and global creative director for Wella Professionals, Eugene Souleiman has made quite a name for himself in the global hair industry. Having worked backstage at 37 international runway shows this season, Souleiman is now preparing for his next move – hairstylist at Valonz salon in Sydney’s Paddington.
Joining the Valonz team, which is lead by salon founders Renya and Jim Xydis, Souleiman’s new role allows Sydneysiders to experience one-on-one hair appointments once a month in the salon from May 3.
I’ve worked with Renya for the last 16 years and over that time she’s become a great friend and colleague,” Souleiman says. Now that I’m spending more time in Australia it’s fun for me to be back in a salon environment where it all began.”
Souleiman has worked with top fashion brands around the world both at Fashion Week shows and on major ad campaigns. Some of those brands include Christian Dior, Issey Miyake, Donna Karan, Stella McCartney and Missoni. Appointments with Souleiman at Valonz Haircutters start from $500, with appointments thereafter costing $300.
