has appointed actress Jennifer Connelly as its first global spokesperson, to coincide with the brand’s 140th anniversary.
Connelly will begin as the face of the brand’s Future Solution LX premium skincare line, and she’ll also serve as Shiseido’s global spokesperson in its 88 countries and regions.
In an interview with WWD, Connelly says she’s had a long relationship with Shiseido, dating back to the eighties. It’s nice to reconnect with them after so many years,” she said.

Ltd. cited the brand’s 140th anniversary as an opportunity to look to the future and continue to inspire women. We believe Jennifer, who is an accomplished actress and mother, will resonate with consumers around the world.”
