Arlor Natural Scientific The Authentic Slimming Capuccino
I don’t go a day in the office without having an afternoon fix. But lately, I’ve been brooding over the amount of caffeine and calories making its way into my body this silly season. Just as I say this, like an angel from above, the Arlor Natural Scientific Authentic Slimming Capuccino lands on my desk. At first quite sceptical, I was actually pleasantly surprised by the taste which was reminiscent of chocolate wafers. And I also found that the amount of caffeine in it was plenty enough to get me through to 5:30pm - I can definitely get used to this. As for the question on everyone’s mind: does the thing do what it says? It’s far too early to say, but it hasn’t made me fat and has reduced my often-bloated stomach. - Jocelyn
Jergens BB Body Perfecting Skin Cream
The idea of a BB body cream is one that I had never heard of, but when I went to the launch and saw the gorgeous Cheyenne Tozzi gushing over how much she loved it, I knew that I had to trial this product. I used the product over a week, applying in the morning after my shower as a body lotion. The lotion is very sheer in texture, and it dries quickly on the skin, working like a moisturiser but leaving a light tint that evens out the appearance of skin. I trialled the medium to deep shade, and after applying it, my skin was literally glowing as the cream is formulated to adjust to complement individual skin tone. After the week of use, it hydrated my skin, leaving it even, firm and corrected. I now see why Tozzi was loving this body BB and I must say - I am hooked! - Maddie
Carelli Three-Step System
I have very blonde hair that is naturally curly - so needless to say, frizz and dryness are common complaints. Particularly in summer when I know that the humidity is going to turn my lovely do into something reminiscent of Sideshow Bob. I’ve been lucky enough to be able to trial the Carelli Three-Step System and have been seeing fabulous results. The system contains three products: the Carelli Recovery Oil, The Elixir Shampoo and the Gloss Treatment. My favourite part of the system is the Recovery Oil - I leave the rich oil in my hair overnight (for maximum hydration) and wash out in the morning with the shampoo and conditioner. With this treatment - the results speak for themself. Normally I would have to blowdry, straighten and then hope for the best with my hair - but since using these products, I can blowdry my hair and it’s so healthy and glossy that it’s ready to wear.
