NZ: Advertising’s big spenders unveiled

Ever wondered how much the hot shots are spending each year on advertising? Well, wonder no longer - Nielsen Advertising Information Services has just released how much the top 10 brands in New Zealand spent on advertising in 2014.

According to rate card data, Progressive Enterprises and Foodstuffs NZ claimed the top two places, both spending around the $NZ80 million. Next up was The Warehouse, which forked out over $NZ70 million on advertising.

Unilever Australia was also up there, coming in eighth at just over $NZ50 million. Spark NZ, Brand Developers, Harvey Norman, Vodafone New Zealand, ANZ Banking Group and Mitre 10 made up the rest of the list.
