NZ: Kiwi woman launches colour swatch app

After growing increasingly frustrated with juggling colour swatches while out and about with clients, Auckland-based stylist Holley Banks decided to create an app that allows users to access swatches on their phone.

With a range of seasonal colour palettes available, the app enables users to select and download a palette to assist them when shopping for make-up and nail colours.

“I want all women to look and feel their best and concluded that it was time for our industry to move with modern technology. This app gives the modern shopper the same cutting edge as the traditional [colour swatch] tools, but in a discreet, user-friendly way,” says Banks.

The smartphone version is set to make choosing beauty products easier for consumers. “It’s like having a personal stylist in your pocket,” says Banks.

The Personal Colour Swatch is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play at a cost of $4.99 per seasonal palette.
