She’s one of Australia’s top female entrepreneurs, and now founder and CEO Shelley Barrett is sharing her wisdom with celebrities and the nation as a boardroom advisor on Channel 9’s Celebrity Apprentice.
Approached by show producers, Barrett will star alongside high-profile businessman Mark Bouris and television personality Kerri-Anne Kennerley for the fourth season of the show.
“When I created ModelCo, I had no idea it would evolve into the global beauty brand it is today. It certainly didn’t happen overnight - it took years and years of hard work, determination and skill,” says Barrett.
“I have learnt so much along the way; I certainly feel well equipped to mentor the contestants! Every journey has a starting point - all the contestants have been given a unique opportunity to learn from industry leaders. I am really looking forward to accompanying the group along the way.”
Contestants on the show include actress Esther Anderson, radio DJ Mel Greig, personality Gabi Grecko, Real Housewife Gina Liano, Miss Universe Australia Tegan Martin, personality Sophie Monk, NRL superstar Matt Cooper, Big Brother winner Tim Dormer, Aussie tycoon Geoffrey Edelsten, The Bachelor’s Blake Garvey, TV presenter James Mathisen, and Hollywood gossip guru Richard Reid.
Filming of Celebrity Apprentice is already underway, with the season airing in late September.
