The pursuit of wellbeing is not only shaping our food choices, but also encroaching on our beauty routines, with health products fast becoming an essential for many Australians. A recent beautyheaven survey found supplements and natural products are high on consumer’s lists.
The study revealed 84 per cent of respondents have taken vitamins and supplements in the last 12 months. A further 53 per cent take supplements daily or 3-4 times per week, with 25 per cent currently consuming superfoods in powder form. The five most popular supplements were multivitamins, hair, skin and nail supplements, vitamin D, biotin and silica.
