Teen Vogue’s days rumoured to be numbered

There are rumours afoot that VOGUE’s junior offering won’t remain a standalone print publication for much longer. Teen Vogue - the popular fashion and style magazine for readers in their late teens to early 20s - has made a raft of changes that signal its integration into the VOGUE office.

In recent days the magazine’s entire team of staff for digital and print were moved onto the same floor as Vogue.com. Spokesperson Erin Kaplan explains to Racked that this was a part of Teen Vogue’s new “alignment” with VOGUE.

While the magazine’s editor-in-chief Amy Astley remains at the helm of the publication, it has been confirmed that the managing editor has departed. This follows on from recent news that the magazine lost its individual publisher Jason Wagenheim, handing over the reins to VOGUE’s publisher Susan Plagemann.
